J&K Govt Restores November-December Session for Up to 9th Standard
10th to 12th Standard Academic Session to Be Restored Next Year
Srinagar, Oct 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced the restoration of the academic session for students up to 9th standard to November-December, changing from the previous March session.
In an exclusive interview with Srinagar based news agency, J&K’s Education Minister Sakina Itoo confirmed that the academic schedule for students up to 9th standard will revert to November-December.
“For now, we will restore the academic session back to November-December for students up to 9th standard. For students of 10th to 12th, the academic session will be restored from next year,” she stated.
This announcement comes after the introduction of a Uniform Academic Calendar by the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir, which began in the 2022-23 academic year.
